Ani Difranco
Angela Maria Ani DiFranco is an American-Canadian songwriter and singer. There are more than 20 albums. The music of DiFranco is classified as alternative, folk rock and pop, however she also draws influences from jazz and hip-hop. Ani DiFranco is the first person to create her own label in 1990. Ani is widely considered to be a feminist icon. DiFranco was born in Buffalo New York on September 23 1970 the daughter of Elizabeth (Ross) and Dante Americo DiFranco and Dante Americo DiFranco, who been in contact while at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Her mother was born in Montreal and her father has Italian origins. Ani DiFranco composed and performed 32 Flavors. The track comes from her album from 1995 Not a Pretty Girl, which was DiFranco's sixth studio release. It was also featured on the soundtrack for the Canadian romantic comedy Better Than Chocolate, released in 1999. DiFranco apologized in 2013 when the news broke she was hosting a 3-day workshop on a Louisiana former slave plantation. The workshop was cancelled, but several (including this paper) were not able to sense any regret. DiFranco apologized for her actions just a few days later. Though she's known for her role as the Little Folksinger her music spans many kinds of genres and collaborates across the spectrum from Pete Seeger to Chuck D to Prince. She is from New Orleans. Ani diFranco along with Kristen Ford are together. At 14, she began writing her own songs. She would perform them at bars and in coffee shops all through her teenage years. DiFranco has graduated at the age of 16, at the age of 16, from Buffalo Academy for Visual and Performing Arts High School, was the first to attend classes in Buffalo State College. The new baritone she got was an original Alvarez constructed by Chrys Johnston who at the moment was employed as the Alvarez Artist Representative.
