She's reported on the sports scene for major media outlets all over the world. Her tenure at The Washington Post was spent covering several Olympics, Grand Slam Tennis along with basketball, football and other sports. Nichols worked for nine years at ESPN and won the network two Emmy Awards. As a reporter in the stands as well as a participant on Monday Night Football.
