KellyKelly Clarkson in her full Kelly Brianne Clarkson was an American music producer and singer who became famous after she was the winner of American Idol's talent contest in 2002. Clarkson was raised at Burleson Texas (a suburb located in Fort Worth), where her talents in singing were first noticed by her seventh-grade choir teacher. After graduating high school, Clarkson went into Los Angeles to try to get into the business world. After returning home in Texas in 2002, the singer was a contestant for the The Fox Broadcasting Corporation's American Idol. This singing competition allowed viewers to select their favourite performer. Clarkson's charisma, voice, and sense of humor instantly drew the attention by the viewers. Her prize as the winner was $1 million as well as the recording contract was signed with RCA.
